March Livestock PFT Meeting
The Livestock PFT invites you to join them at the spring professional development meeting, March 27 & 28 in McPherson, KS. There will be a tour of area livestock handling facilities the afternoon of March 27. Meet at the McPherson Extension Office and plan to be moving down the road on a bus at 12 noon. Please eat lunch prior to arriving. The meeting will continue the morning of the 28th with follow-up discussion on facilities, basics of starting a sheep and goat operation, PFT business meeting and wrap up by noon.
Make motel reservations by March 6 at Sure Stay Motel, 620-241-5343; mention block “Ag Group.” The PFT will be helping cover motel expense so you shouldn’t have to leave your credit card number to make the reservation. (PFT budget assumes some room sharing). You will need to provide a credit card at check in to cover incidentals.
