How Does Tech Commercialization Help Grow Businesses in Your Community?

Submitted by Nancy Daniels

Our speaker is Greg Panichello, Kansas Small Business Development Center state director.

Businesses are often unsure of what steps to take next to commercialize their products and services. They want to find important people and agency connections, help evaluating options and assistance to secure funding.

SBDC provides assistance to help evaluate their best solutions, connections to important government entities, connections to venture capitalists and angel investors, and assistance to refine their pitches. SBDC clients include individual innovators and university innovators as well as industry innovators including biomedical, software development, and Unmanned Aerial Systems.

First Friday e-calls are open to the public. Help us reach out! If you, an eco-devo director or business owner, would like to participate in the call, email nkdaniels@ksu.edu. Join us this Friday, May 4, at 9:30 a.m.

The purpose of the First Friday e-call is to increase the number of transactions between entrepreneurs and the resources that can help them grow. The First Friday e-call is presented on Zoom and the calls are recorded for future review at http://www.ksre.k-state.edu/community/business/entrepreneurship/.
