Many professionals today work with a variety of volunteer adult learners throughout the scope of their daily work. Some example organizations that depend upon volunteers include Cooperative Extension, hospitals, community centers, and Red Cross. The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of volunteer leadership educational theory, and introduce practical skills and practices, including planning, management, coaching, training, and adult learning principles.
