Indigenous Peoples Day

Mark your calendars and make plans to attend the Indigenous Peoples Day on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the K-State Union.

Keynote speakers include:
• Elizabeth Kronk Warner (JD, University of Kansas): Raping Indian Country
• Robin Zape-tah-hol-ah Minthorn (PhD, University of New Mexico): Indigenizing the Academy and Reclaiming the Space of our Ancestors
• Maggie Walter (PhD, University of Tasmania, Oz to Oz visiting Fulbright Scholar): Indigenous Data and Indigenous Data Sovereignty

The event will also feature a screening and discussion of the film Warrior Women (www.warriorwomenfilm.com).
