Still Plenty of Spots to Volunteer at the Kansas State Fair
There are still plenty of opportunities to volunteer to represent K-State at the Kansas State Fair!
The Kansas State Fair runs from Friday, September 7, through Sunday, September 16. K-State Research and Extension (KSRE) will once again have an adjacent booth to the College of Agriculture in the Pride of Kansas building at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson. Volunteering is a great opportunity to represent K-State, increase awareness about KSRE, recruit future K-State students, and share your expertise with fair attendees.
We encourage Program Focus Teams (PFTs), plus faculty, staff and students on campus, in area offices, county/district offices, Agronomy Fields, and Research-Extension Centers to sign up to work for a few hours in one or both of the booths. The following spots are still available!
Friday, September 7 – Adult Development and Aging

Saturday, September 8 – Farm Management, KFMA

Entry tickets and instructions will be provided to all volunteers. In addition, this year we will hold two live Zoom sessions on August 21 (10 a.m. and 2 p.m.) to help prepare and provide helpful information about volunteering. These sessions will be recorded for those unable to attend either of the live Zoom sessions.
