College of Agriculture Diversity Programs Office

Submitted by Summer Smades

The Diversity Programs Office (DPO) would like to begin by thanking everyone who attended yesterday’s 16th Annual College of Agriculture Diversity Student Leader Reception Seminar. The seminar included remarks from Dean Dr. Ernie Minton, our Sponsor - Frontier Farm Credit, Dr. Zelia Wiley, members of the K-State Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS) chapter, and keynote speaker Reverend John R. Williams, Vice-President of the Board of Education for Topeka Public Schools USD 501. We would also like to thank those that attended the Hands on K-State this past Saturday and the Manhattan Community MLK Observances. Thank you to everyone who helped make two of the first events of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance Week a success.

Before getting into the remaining events on campus for Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Week, the DPO invites all interested students to attend the K-State MANRRS Corporate Showcase on Wednesday, January 29, at 6 p.m. in 137 Waters Hall.
