KSRE 2020 Virtual Multi-State Fall Conference is Here

Submitted by Laurie Chandler

With annual conference this week, I’ve been thinking back to last year’s conference and the encouragement we received to embrace innovation in our extension work. Little did we know that the COVID pandemic would require all of us to embrace innovation in order to continue to carry out the mission of K-State Research and Extension. Talk about timing!

We continue to focus on innovation this week for the first ever 2020 Virtual Multi-State Fall Conference. Not only is our conference virtual this year, we have partnered with North Dakota State University and South Dakota State University Extension systems to provide a joint annual conference. It is expected that more than 700 extension professionals and support staff will participate in the various keynote presentations and breakout sessions.

We hope that you are able to fully participate in the conference sessions. In addition to several multi-state and state-specific sessions, there are more than 40 breakout sessions to choose from. Find a location that will allow you to focus on each session with limited distractions so that you get the full benefit of this unique professional development opportunity.

For the schedule of sessions, log into the Sched account you created at registration. Here’s the link to the first Multi-State Conference Welcome that begins this afternoon at 1:15 p.m.

I look forward to “seeing” you this week at Annual Conference!
