Shout Out: Megan Drake and Taylor Kennedy

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

This week's Shout Out comes from Rebecca McFarland, Frontier District Director, and is being given to Department of Communications and Agricultural Education's Megan Drake and Taylor Kennedy. Rebecca wrote:

"I would like to send a Shout Out to Megan Drake and Taylor Kennedy of the Department of Communications and Agricultural Education. The Stress and Resiliency Team wanted to highlight K-State Research and Extension's work in behavioral health during Mental Health Awareness Month in May. We contacted Meg and she and Taylor developed a Mental Health Awareness Campaign plan, worked with team members to create infographics, social media posts, videos, and audio segments. The campaign provided information and education on mental health and resources to those struggling with stress, anxiety, and depression. Thank you, Meg and Taylor, for your dedication and support to raise awareness about mental health and provide resources."

Megan and Taylor, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.

If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to (please note change) ksreshoutout@ksu.edu.
