Kansas Leadership Trainings Update

Submitted by Nancy K Daniels

If you scheduled time on Thursday, July 14, for our Building Leaders Connection at 10:30 a.m., this time has been rescheduled to August 11, at the same time. Building Leaders Connection is an opportunity for practicing or experiencing for the first time, the leadership skills learned at Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) Training. The next session will be on "Speaking to Loss," a tool for energizing others. The sessions are open to KLC alumni and those curious about KLC training.

Over the past four years, K-State Research and Extension professionals have attended 133 KLC trainings valued at $104,000.

There are still opportunities for low-cost professional development at Kansas Leadership Center this year, both virtual and in-person. Because of a grant, the training is free, except for books and travel. There are three steps on the KLC training path, which must be taken sequentially; you may take more than one class in a year. To sign up, register, and use payment code KSRE2022.
